Call To Action: Be A Light For Others

Jesus is and was one of my favorite teachers. He taught love, he performed miraculous healings and showed people that anything was possible when you walked with God.

That his teachings have been used in many other ways over the course of history is not a surprise, but if you boil down what he was here to teach, it was love.

Love your neighbor, love yourself, help each other and you will all be better for it.

He democratized faith and healing - no longer was it just for the leaders of the church, he made faith into something you do and take action on every day and he showed people how to do it.

Jesus was a light in the darkness, shining a path to bring others to the light as well. What a beautiful, loving legacy.

If you are reading this, then you too are called to take action in your life. To be a light for others in darkness and shine their path to the light.

Take direction from this beautiful verse:

"You are the light of the world - like a city on a mountain that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father." - Matthew 5:14-16
