There is truly nothing more soul-filling than knowing that sins, burdens and all, God loves you. As humans, this is hard for us to understand. We are full of failings and shortcomings. Every misstep along the journey of life feels like a set back or moment for judgment.
And yet, when you spend time reading the Gospels (books Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), it is difficult not to recognize the grace that Jesus showed to every person he met no matter who they were or what they had done. He knew their failings and still showed them care and love.
No matter who you are and what yoke (burden) you carry, this verse is meant for you to know that Jesus is for you, too.
Give it a try – give your burdens over to Jesus and let him give you the rest.
