I have seen that God is bigger than our understanding. Being curious about the world and exploring outside what you have been told isn’t questioning God, it is exploring God's capacity.
The human experience is difficult. Part of our experience as humans is to experience duality - the ups and the downs of life - in order to learn and experience growth.
We do not know how to feel joy if we do not know how to feel sadness.
We cannot be love if we have not experienced hate.
We cannot be without judgement if we have not overcome our own shame.
But with these experiences, many people experience fear. And so they find comfort in trying to tell others how they must experience life. They especially do this through rules and identifying their versions of right and wrong.
The world is not what we believe it to be though. Right and wrong based on individual lived experiences isn't necessarily true. It certainly isn't all of God.
You may read this and feel uncomfortable with this, but it is important to pivot from thinking "your version of God" is in fact God. This leads to fear, destruction, death and cruelty, which moves you away from God.
God does not need us to protect him or tell others what or who God is. God needs us to show love to bring people to God.
God is many things to many people and this is okay. Get comfortable with that fact. Our differences create opportunities for us to learn and grow.
When you choose to be light and love in the world instead of fear and control, you are on the path to understanding God as you are intended to.
Please choose love. When you do, you will see this is when blessings flow.
